Bob Tiff, of Redfield, receives Todd Kramp Award at Lee Wolf Wrestling Tournament

During the Lee Wolf Wrestling Tournament held in Aberdeen on Saturday, January 26th, 2019, Bob Tiff, of Redfield, was pleasantly surprised to receive the Todd Kramp Memorial Award. The award, presented at the Lee Wolf Tournament for the past 16 years, is given to honor an individual who has “made great contributions to wrestling, but often in an unnoticed capacity.” It also seeks to recognize “the tireless work of the ‘behind-the-scenes’ persons who make wrestling events the best they can be.”

The Pheasant Capital of the World®

Redfield is the first recorded place in South Dakota to successfully introduce the Chinese Ringneck Pheasant. This lead to the first open season on October 30, 1919.  From Spink County, pheasant hunting grew throughout the state.  Hunters still flock to Redfield to bag their limit.
